Day four offers three separate options. The first follows Highway
2 over rolling hills to the city of Davenport. It
is a fairly easy ride with no major hills. You will coast into
town by noon to relax and enjoy the small town hospitality. You
will feel like king or queen when the “Pioneer Days” royal
court serves you dinner.
The
other options follow one or two loops that leave Highway 2 to the
north. The first follows the Columbia River to Electric City (near
Grand Coulee Dam) and rejoins the highway at Wilbur.
The second
leaves the highway at Creston going north to Fort Spokane and returning
to Davenport. You may choose to do one of the loops for an 80-mile
day or both to round out the only century opportunity on RED-SPOKE.
No matter what you choose, join the group for bowling that night & bring
your best ride stories to share!
